Meet Tracey
Complementary Therapist and Registered Nurse
Hello!
It's lovely to have you here!
I came to study complementary therapies and healthcare when seeking tools and new ways to manage my mental health & wellbeing. I started with a few college courses in Reiki in 2007, followed by Swedish Massage and then I fell in love with Clinical Reflexology. I have not looked back since and I've continued to add to my knowledge and skills over the years. Those first steps into healthcare ignited a lifelong passion for supporting others and helping people to find self-management tools that complement conventional medicine and talking therapies. Becoming a parent forged my special interest in supporting reproductive wellbeing, parents/carers, & families like mine.
My parenthood journey has taken a bit of a different path, from suffering from stage 4 endometriosis to experiencing birth trauma to parenting a wonderful child who has complex health and support needs. I understand the impact such a journey can have on our health and wellbeing and the isolation it can bring. I found comfort in community and exploring ways to support myself and my child.
This path has led me to qualify in Intellectual/ Learning Disability Nursing, Counselling Skills, and pursue an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy, bringing my life experience and training together to provide adaptive, bespoke, holistic services.

Values-Based Approach
My personal and professional values underpin my approach to practice. I'm passionate about working in an inclusive, neuroaffirming, and trauma-informed way where everyone is treated with compassion and dignity.
I fervently believe that everyone deserves access to complementary therapies and well-being support regardless of age, disability, income, gender identity, sexual orientation, skin colour, or body size. I am AuDHD (diagnosed autistic & ADHD), LGBTQIA+, and I am the parent of a young person with complex disabilities - there is no space in my practice for discrimination or hate. I aim to provide a nurturing, safe space for everyone.
A thorough holistic assessment and medical history is taken before your first session with me, regardless of what you've booked in for. This helps me to build an accurate picture of you and tailor your treatment plan accordingly. I like to involve clients in this process as much as possible so we can create your plan together. This is also when you can tell me about any reasonable adjustments you may need, whether that's communication, sensory, or mobility; I will do my very best to ensure your needs are met.
